On-Site Solar System Specialist

Join our quest for a smarter, cleaner energy future as a Field Service Electrician. In this critical customer-facing role, you will provide on-site service, support, and training for SolarEdge systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the optimal performance and quality of these systems.
This position requires occasional travel to customer sites, where you will troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and commission SolarEdge systems at residential and commercial sites. As the main point of contact for installers and customers, you will provide guidance on best practices and technical support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing SolarEdge systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Providing on-site training and support for installers and customers on system installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Conducting site audits and system reviews to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards.
- Supporting the internal team with insights from the field to enhance service and system performance.
Qualified candidates must possess a valid QLD electrical license (mandatory), full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident), and the following certifications: CPR, LVR, First Aid, White Card, Working at Heights, and a valid driver's license. A minimum of 3 years' experience in the solar industry, including at least 1 year in a technical, customer-facing role, is also required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Electrical contractor license and SAA certification are highly desirable.
