Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 to join our Pharmacy Department on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will assist Pharmacists in the provision of Pharmacy services, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of medications to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Pharmacists in clinical activities, including medication management and aseptic preparation
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Pharmacy services, ensuring alignment with hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
- Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or working towards
- Experience in Hospital Pharmacy and an understanding of medicines terminology and the PBS
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
