About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Technology practice group in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will work on high-profile matters involving technology, IP, cyber, data, and AI. You will have direct exposure to a diverse range of clients, including government, data centre operators, financial institutions, and large corporates.

  • You will advise clients on procurement, licensing, and supply of hardware, software, cloud services, managed services, and other goods and services.
  • You will work on outsourcing and insourcing projects, including business process and function transformations.
  • You will assist clients with government procurement, cyber security, and data risk management, including incident response and regulatory compliance.
  • You will be involved in artificial intelligence and intellectual property rights commercialisation, protection, and enforcement.
  • You will provide specialist corporate support in mergers and acquisitions.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with exposure to complex technology transactions and projects.
  • A strong understanding of technology, IP, cyber, data, and AI.
  • Outstanding written, drafting, and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
  • The ability to anticipate, prioritise, and manage competing deadlines.
  • A commitment to excellence and exceptional client service.
