The Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) Caseworker role is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a unique blend of assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills. As a key member of the JCPRP team, you will be working closely with vulnerable children, young people, and families to identify and address safety and risk concerns.
Your primary responsibilities will include undertaking comprehensive assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people. You will also engage in collaborative practice that acknowledges and respects the culture and context of each individual, while sourcing timely and accurate information to inform decision-making.
In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with partner agencies and stakeholders to deliver holistic and coordinated services. A strong focus on continuous learning and professional development is also encouraged to ensure your practice knowledge and skills remain contemporary.
To succeed in this position, you will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to build positive working relationships. A minimum of 2 years' frontline experience in statutory child protection services or within statutory investigation services is also essential. A valid driver's licence and paid working with children clearance number are mandatory requirements.
