The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of Hitachi projects, shut downs, planned maintenance, and day-to-day activities of Hitachi Site Support Technicians.

You will work closely with the customer to maintain machine performance and actively ensure safety improvements are driven and documented. You will also supervise and mentor technicians with their work and activities, providing supervision for onsite shuts/projects/annual leave and workshop supervision as required.

You will drive change and implement safety procedures, quality control measures, and SWP improvements. Additionally, you will develop and implement strategic plans to improve performance, equipment reliability, and lower maintenance costs.

  1. Demonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regarded.
  2. Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight time frames.
  3. Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.
  4. Safety focus and abide by site safety processes.
