Academic Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a high-achieving Associate Professor to join our world-class STEM faculty at a leading university. The successful candidate will provide academic leadership and drive excellence in teaching, research, and professional development within the School, University, and industry sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Civil Engineering and a strong research track record with substantial outputs in high-quality outlets. They will also possess international recognition in construction management, digital transformation, and building engineering.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering original and innovative contributions that advance the School's scholarly, research, and professional capabilities at both national and international levels. You will also contribute strongly to teaching and learning, with a focus on improving student outcomes.

To succeed in this position, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead award-winning programs and implement innovative approaches to student-centred learning.
  • Nationally recognised research track record with substantial outputs in high-quality outlets and emerging international recognition.
  • Experience in research leadership with the ability to build and develop collaborative research teams.
  • Ability to attract and secure external research funding to sustain research effort.
  • Extensive experience in supervising higher degree by research candidates.
  • Proven ability to lead scholarly development and manage academic teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills.
