Job Opportunity: Enrolled Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife to provide quality person-centred nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes.

You will assist with the provision of nursing care, implement appropriate nursing care plans, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve defined outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and policies
  • Assist with general and specialized procedures from nursing care plans
  • Implement appropriate nursing care and prioritize work programs to achieve defined outcomes
  • Exercise judgment when solving problems arising in the work area
  • Provide verbal and documented information within your scope of practice to patients, other healthcare team members, and members of the public
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.

You will also need to have effective verbal and written communication skills, and be capable of working well within a multidisciplinary team environment.
