We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Business Partner, playing a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence at City Facilities Management.

About the Opportunity

As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our leaders and teams, driving business outcomes through effective people management practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong employee relations skills, with experience in high-volume workplace investigations and compliance. A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field is essential, along with 3-5 years of HR experience in blue-collar or service-based industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations Management: Oversee and support end-to-end HR case management, focusing on workplace investigations and performance matters.
  • HR Compliance: Guide managers and employees on legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and HR policies.
  • HR Partnership and Relationship Management: Partner with City leaders to drive a high-performing culture.
What We're Looking For
  • Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (essential).
  • 3-5 years of HR experience handling high-volume investigations in a blue-collar or service-based industry, with a working knowledge of enterprise agreements and awards.
  • Proven experience in addressing conflict resolution, grievance management, and promoting a positive workplace environment.
  • Strong understanding of national employment standards and relevant workplace legislation.
  • Ability to represent the HR function at a senior level both internally and externally.
