**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Testing Specialist to join our team based in Townsville, Australia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

As a Senior SAP Testing Specialist, you will lead the project team in planning, executing, and managing test activities specifically for SAP projects. Your responsibility will be to develop detailed test plans, work with developers to correct defects and ensure the defect management process is adhered to. You will work closely with the development team, project managers and stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement in testing practices.

**About the Role**

  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP modules and integrations based on business requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to understand business processes and technical configurations, ensuring test coverage of all critical business scenarios.
  • Execute different types of testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT, performance) for SAP applications.
  • Manage and coordinate defect triage processes, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers on SAP testing best practices and provide technical leadership to the QA team.
  • Drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and scripts for SAP applications to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain test metrics, dashboards, and status reports to communicate testing progress and quality status to stakeholders.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Extensive experience delivering testing on complex enterprise projects, under aggressive timelines with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP products, GTM preferred.
  • Experience working on integration projects, especially with SAP.
  • Proven experience in delivering test plans, test scenarios, test cases, reports and effective defect management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop detailed UAT test plans and assist the business and users in carrying out UAT testing.
  • Assist team members to track and correct software bugs and defects.
  • Ensure test plans are agreed with the project manager / business analyst and align with the software solution timeline.
  • Ensure test cases cover all agreed test scenarios and comply with industry best practice.
  • Ability to lead and mentor others in testing techniques, methods and systems.
