We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at General Pants - Claremont.

About the role...

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a passionate and committed team to create a customer-driven culture in-store and work together to achieve goals. You will be in charge of all store operations to ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving outcomes and results through the right skills and behaviours, self-reflection across teams, and breaking it down to bite-sized pieces as needed.
  • Ability to review sales and stock sell-through reports, analyse what has impacted store results, and work with the Regional Manager on future actions.
  • Understanding and coaching others to decipher reports into actions, how to hit targets through action.
  • Holding yourself and each individual accountable for their own results.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to allow them to grow, celebrating their strengths and building awareness and steps to address their gaps.
  • Managing the team's workload, workflow, time management, and ultimate delivery through strong accountability and goal setting.
  • Leading and inspiring the team to dig deep, love what they do, and be proud of their contribution to the wider business strategy.
  • Prioritising team members' wellbeing and mental health, ensuring they are healthy, taking time to recharge, and talking about how they are feeling.

About you...

  • At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
  • A genuine love and understanding for fashion and our brands.
  • The ability to confidently lead, motivate, and engage your team.
  • Proven experience and success in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
  • A proven track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
  • Sound knowledge and proven success in retail ops, including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage.
  • Must have full Australian working rights.
