We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated ICU Registrar to join our team at our state-of-the-art hospital in tropical North Queensland. As an ICU Registrar, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in critical care medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care under the guidance of experienced consultants
  • Contribute to the development of a shift roster covering day and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends
  • Engage in both theoretical and practical training within the Intensive Care Unit
About the Hospital

Our hospital is a leading healthcare provider in regional Australia, with a reputation for excellence in patient care and medical education. Our ICU has 8 beds, including 4 High Dependency Unit beds, and admits critically ill adult and paediatric patients. We have a diverse case mix, including General Medicine and Surgical Intensive Care, Trauma, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Interventional Cardiology, and Paediatrics.

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Significant previous experience in Intensive Care Medicine is not mandatory but some experience is desirable
  • Registration with AHPRA
