Digital Infrastructure Architect

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. We are seeking an experienced ICT Solutions Architect to join our IT team in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that align with our digital and data strategies. As an ICT Solutions Architect, you will have a deep understanding of ICT infrastructure, software development, and data management, and be able to create robust and scalable solutions.

This is a full-time position based on a 38-hour working week, and can be located in our Townsville Head Office, Cairns Office, Brisbane Admin Office or remotely based on the successful candidate.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related discipline
• Previous experience with Data Action platforms and systems
• An understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions
• Proven experience in coding languages, desirable of SQL, Python, Scala or R
• Proficiency in application, data architecture, and data engineering
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat modelling
• Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with capability to communicate complex technical concepts
