Job Description

We are seeking an experienced kitchen hand to fill a full-time and casual position.

The role involves a variety of tasks including:

  • Filling and monitoring the cafe display with sandwiches, toasties, wraps, panini, pies, salads, cakes, sweets etc
  • Cleaning kitchens and food preparation areas
  • Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables or fruit
  • Transferring, weighing, and checking supplies and equipment
  • Preparing ingredients for cooking and preparing salads, savouries, and sandwiches

Responsibilities may include maintaining a clean work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and performing various duties as required by the team leader.

Requirements

This is a hands-on role requiring at least 2 years of experience working in a similar capacity. We prefer applicants with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should possess a positive attitude, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
