Cleaner for Aged Care Facility

Located within beautiful grounds in a seaside suburb, this aged care facility provides residential care, therapy services and community care.

This role involves providing cleaning services on a scheduled, rapid response or exit basis for various areas including:

  • Entrances, reception and office spaces
  • Cafe, lifestyle hub, therapy services and meeting rooms
  • Toilets and common areas
  • Resident rooms, including bathrooms

Maintaining high standards of hygiene and minimizing contamination risk is crucial. Issues requiring maintenance attention must be identified and logged accordingly. Rubbish removal is also an essential part of this role.

Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced setting, friendliness, positivity, and teamwork are essential requirements for this position.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cleaner, preferably in aged care
  • Ability to work independently
  • Up-to-date mandatory vaccinations (flu, COVID, boosters)
