About the Opportunity
Uniting Preschool Caringbah is an integral part of our local community, providing quality education and care to young children. Our programs are designed to inspire a child's desire to learn, embracing purposeful play and group activities that encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
- Develop positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and community members.
- Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
- Document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
- A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
