Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced security specialist to join our team as a Lock Maintenance Technician in Melbourne. This is a full-time permanent position with a Monday to Friday roster.
About the RoleThis role involves installing, servicing, and repairing various types of locks and security devices. You will also be responsible for installing and repairing door hardware and hydraulic closing fixtures, safe repairs and servicing, disassembling locks, and troubleshooting mechanical locking and electronic access control systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, service, and repair various types of locks and security devices.
- Install and repair door hardware and hydraulic closing fixtures.
- Safely repair and maintain all lock-related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical locking and electronic access control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of customer keying and maintenance requirements.
- Participate in an after-hours rotating roster.
- Previous experience working in a locksmith and service specialist role.
- Victorian Security Licence.
- Working with Children's certificate.
- Construction Card (white card).
