The estimated salary for this position is around $16 per hour, which translates to approximately $32,640 per year based on a standard full-time schedule.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Food Production Team Member to join our team at Costco Wholesale. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our high-quality standards are met in all aspects of food production, from packaging to stocking.

  • Packages, wraps, seals, weighs, and labels merchandise. Stocks and rotates display case.
  • Fo
  • Follows Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
  • Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety training required by warehouse and fresh food area.
  • Performs preventative maintenance for machinery, equipment, and implements. Cleans equipment. Washes and sanitizes part in sink. Cleans deli area.
  • Counts merchandise on hand, figures production needs, and documents production on daily form. Fills out time and temperature record forms. Records merchandise to be salvaged, damaged or destroyed for manager audit. Completes sanitation checklist after final clean up.
  • Assists in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
  • Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and stand for long periods.
