Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at HMAS Cerberus in Crib Point, VIC.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing plumbing trade activities, including installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and ensuring the integrity and performance of equipment and facilities within the contract.

This is a permanent full-time role working 07:00-15:30 Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Displays solid hands-on technical skills, developed through trade training and experience.
  • Ensure that ongoing maintenance tasks are appropriately planned and executed in accordance with state regulations, including determining task priorities and creating appropriate support documentation.
  • To effectively diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on plumbing systems.
  • To be proactive in addressing customer complaints and demonstrate competence in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
  • Perform work in a safe manner, abiding by Defence and Ventia's legislative safe work procedures, instructions, and safety management practices.
  • Observe quality and technical procedures, work instructions, and practices.

Requirements:

  • A current VIC Plumbing licence
  • Water Licence
  • Sanitary Licence
  • Drainage Licence
  • Backflow Licence - Desirable
  • Gas Fitter – Desirable
  • White Card
