We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Services Assistant to join our team at the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network.
Job Summary:The Services Assistant will be responsible for providing a timely, efficient, and effective service in the catering and cleaning of the health unit. This includes preparing food, meal service, kitchen cleaning, and laundry duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Catering: Prepare food, meal service, and kitchen cleaning, including dishes and washing floors, in compliance with Food Safety Standards.
- Cleaning: Perform standard and additional precaution cleaning of rooms, passages, offices, and public toilets, as well as window and curtain maintenance, and rubbish removal, in compliance with cleaning standards.
- Laundry: Collect, prepare, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident/patient clothing and some hospital-owned goods, in compliance with laundry standards.
- Availability to work over 7 days and across Riverland General Hospital and Barmera Health Service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
