About The Role

We're seeking a motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Parkdale. In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with Physiotherapists and other Allied Health professionals to deliver therapy programs, group sessions, and individual supports that help clients stay active, independent, and engaged in their community.

You'll be involved in a variety of programs, including Better Balance, Gentle Exercise, Hydrotherapy, Tai Chi, Strength Training, and GLAD groups. Supporting individual therapy sessions under professional supervision, assisting across other allied health areas such as Occupational Therapy and Podiatry (including nail care clinics, if trained), and maintaining equipment and infection control standards are also key responsibilities.

This is a hands-on role where you'll ensure program smooth running, build strong connections with clients, and contribute to their health goals.

Key Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience working under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional
  • A genuine passion for helping people live healthier, more independent lives
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-first approach

Basic nail care training and experience would be highly regarded.
