About the Role

Zeph Air Australia is seeking a skilled and experienced pilot to fill the Type Specialist role, working closely with National Aviation Academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks as directed by the Chief Pilot, including conducting proficiency tests and issuing certificates of proficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with CASA Regulations, loading procedures, and operational standards.
  • Monitor and maintain training records, supervise flight crew training, and allocate aircraft.
  • Recommending disciplinary action for flight crew as necessary.
Requirements
  • CASA Part 61 Commercial Pilot Licence Aeroplane Class 1 medical.
  • Current Multi-engine instrument rating.
  • Sound knowledge of CASA regulatory publications and company operational procedures.
  • Ability to pass an interview and check flight with CASA in a PA31 chieftain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 15 hours night IFR in command or significant night experience.
  • MEA IR instructor rating or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous instructing experience.
  • Time on PA31, BE58, PA34, C182, C172.
