Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Hunter Valley Depot. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and associated systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines and associated systems
  • Conduct quality control checks on work completed
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins, and CAT vehicles
  • Prior experience with fault diagnosis, both electrical and hydraulic
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Hold a current driver's license
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
