Market Research Analyst Role

Our team conducts in-depth analysis of global markets, identifying key trends and insights that shape investment strategies.
We seek a skilled Market Research Analyst to join our team in Melbourne. As a valued member, you will contribute to the success of our business by:
- Conducting research projects on market share, macro trends, cross-company analysis, and emerging business models.
- Producing reports summarizing findings and predictions, managing sector news flow, and contributing to sector views.
- Developing financial models and interpreting data related to market, economic, and political events.
- Collaborating with regional and macro teams to drive business growth.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Relevant equity research experience, preferably covering ANZ Banks sectors.
- CA/CFA qualification and a master's degree in finance or economics.
- Strong understanding of the ANZ Banks sector and macroeconomic environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong modeling skills and solid grounding in accounting and financial fundamentals.
- Highly analytical and articulate thinker and writer.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
