Job Summary: Emeco is seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to maintain our diverse rental fleet of heavy equipment, including dozers, graders, trucks, and excavators.

About the Role:

  • Fleet Maintenance: Service and repair a range of heavy equipment, including D11 Dozers, 16M & 24M Graders, 773 to 793 Trucks, 400T & 600T Excavators, and more.
  • Utilise Your Skills: Provide breakdown support, planned maintenance, and servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure repairs meet company guidelines and cost targets, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate: Work with Emeco/Force customers to achieve company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Australian Working Rights: Must have full working rights in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • Trade Certificate: Australian recognised qualification in Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant.
  • Mine Site Exposure: Experience with large heavy plant equipment.
  • Safety Awareness: Coal mining safety and ability to pass a Coal Board Medical.
  • Driver's Licence: Current Australian licence (mandatory).
  • Tickets: Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift (highly regarded).
  • Surface Standard 11: Willingness to obtain if not already held.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: Starting from $71 per hour + superannuation.
  • Casual Contracts: From $80 per hour + superannuation.
  • FIFO: Paid Qld flights package available.
  • BIBO: Bus to camp at Coppabella from Mackay. Available for FIFO and local DIDO residence.
  • Vehicle Allowance (DIDO): $30K per annum, paid fortnightly.
  • 7/7 Rotating Roster: Minimum 12-hour shifts | Camp & meals provided.
  • 190 Hours Paid Annual Leave.
  • Paid Travel Time | Fortnightly Pay Cycle.
  • $4K Sign-On Bonus | $5K Refer-a-Mate Bonus.
  • Extra Shift Incentive: For hours outside your 7/7 roster.
