We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Operational Risk Manager. This pivotal position plays a critical part in overseeing cyber and technology risk management practices within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent oversight and assurance over cyber, technology, and data risk management practices
  • Support uplift through advisory and engagement with stakeholders
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights through business-friendly reporting for executive and board stakeholders
  • Conduct thematic reviews and deep dives into cyber, technology, and data risk areas
  • Advise on the design and effectiveness of controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cyber or technology risk management
  • A strong understanding of risk and control fundamentals, business processes, and assurance methods
  • Experience in either Line 1 or 2 risk in the financial services industry
  • Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical recommendations
