This role is responsible for administering compliance in planning and development, building, plumbing, and stormwater drainage matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety, sustainability, and alignment with community standards
  • Deliver high-standard compliance services across planning and development, building, plumbing, and stormwater drainage consistent with Council expectations

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Administering compliance in planning and development, building, plumbing, and stormwater drainage matters
  • Ensuring legislative and procedural compliance
  • Researching, interpreting, and applying legislation to ensure current practices are compliant
Requirements:Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in a regulatory related field
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant Acts, regulations, codes, and schemes that regulate the development compliance industry
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of and ability to enforce relevant legislation and interpret state & local government legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a specialised team environment to achieve quality outcomes regarding planning, building, plumbing, and stormwater compliance matters
