Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Fitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Talent Vision 360. As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of civil and earthmoving machinery, plants, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair a variety of civil and earthmoving machinery, plants, and vehicles, including water trucks, graders, dump trucks, bobcats, excavators, utes, trucks, trailers, telehandlers, road sweepers, rollers, dozers, loaders, and backhoes.
  • Diagnose and repair heavy vehicle automotive, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Disassemble and reassemble components and mechanical systems.
  • Follow safe working practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 1+ years of experience with a range of civil and earthmoving machinery, plants, and vehicles.
  • Use of hand and power tools, and workshop equipment.
  • Experience working in a workshop environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team which includes Apprentices, Mechanics, Electricians, Plant Operators, and Fabricators.
  • Reliable, punctual, team player, can work autonomously.
  • Able to work in a safe manner.

Requirements:

  • Australian trade certificate (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology).
  • Australian Citizen (no to visas/sponsorships).
  • Valid WA C Class Driver's License.
  • Not somebody who has only done Mining / FIFO.
