Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Paint Prepper to join our team in Laverton North. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, priming, buffing, and denibbing vehicles to a high standard, using state-of-the-art equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
  • Operate lowbake paint booths and syrox tinting systems to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to the management team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a paint preparation or painting role, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and learn new skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
  • Ability to undergo a police and background check.
