About the Role

Konekt is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in delivering workplace injury prevention and return to work solutions. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to identify and address barriers to their return to work, providing tailored support and guidance to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
  • Support clients with chronic illness, injury or disability to achieve independence and fulfill their goals
  • Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests
  • Perform activities of daily living assessments and recommending assistive technology under a range of contracts
  • Complete workplace modifications assessment under the National Panel of Assessors contract (requires minimum two years disability employment experience)
  • Administer standardized assessment tools
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor your client's progress toward their return to work or life goal
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives
