Sales and Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Executive to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that specializes in the distribution and wholesaling of organic health food products. As a Sales and Business Development Executive, you will have the freedom to exercise your sales creativity and develop new business opportunities, while also maintaining existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers
  • Deliver products and marketing materials to customers as requested
  • Visit and engage with customers within your designated territory to maximize revenue and sales
  • Research and analyze market trends, consumer demands, and competitors to stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of field sales experience, including cold calling, in the food industry
  • Ambitious and energetic with a passion for food, health, and adding value to others
  • Proven ability to connect with people and build strong, long-term relationships
  • Outstanding communication, listening, and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, goal-driven, and commercially minded
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A valid current driver's license and willingness to travel across Sydney suburbs daily and occasionally to the Central Coast, Wollongong, and Newcastle
