About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Carpentry Apprentice. In this role, you will work under the guidance of qualified tradespeople to develop your skills and knowledge in carpentry and construction.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, including new home builds, renovations, refurbishments, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct wall and ceiling frames, pitches roofs, eaves, and external stairs
  • Laying sub-flooring and floorboards
  • Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding, doors, and windows
  • Measuring materials and carrying out calculations
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Cutting materials, assembling, and nailing
  • May construct concrete formwork

Requirements:

  • An interest and commitment to work in Construction
  • A White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP
  • A current Drivers License or be close to obtaining one, and have your own reliable transport
  • Certificate I or II in Construction is advantageous
  • Work experience within the construction industry is highly desirable
  • Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail
  • Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously
  • Ideally, have your own basic tools (including nail bag)
