Housekeeping Specialist

We are seeking a Domestic Services Assistant on a casual basis to maintain a clean, hygienic and comfortable living environment for residents, staff and visitors at our facility.

• To provide cleaning services according to established schedules as per organizational policies ensuring all areas are maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate records of completion of scheduled duties which include but not limited to room cleaning, laundry facilities and bathroom sanitation.
• Contribute to infection control programs by adhering to all relevant guidelines and protocols thus ensuring a safe working environment.
• Be responsible for undertaking duties that promote a culture of safety among colleagues and visitors alike thereby minimizing risk to individuals and the organization as a whole.

• Previous training or experience in cleaning with an emphasis on high standard practices is essential for this role.
• A current NDIS check is mandatory; applicants without this clearance will be considered if they can acquire it within a reasonable timeframe.
• The ability to work over a 7-day period including weekends and public holidays is required.
