Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MR Truck Driver to join our client's team in Huntingwood. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across multiple locations, ensuring timely deliveries and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate an MR truck, navigating through various environments and adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
  • Loading, transporting, and unloading goods at designated stops, ensuring accurate documentation and minimal delays.
  • Maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to queries, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Diligently managing paperwork, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Driver's Licence
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in truck driving, with a proven track record of safe driving practices.
  • Excellent time management skills, enabling you to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • The ability to work independently, making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • A physically fit individual, able to perform manual handling tasks as required.
