Medical Professional for a Mixed Billing Practice

We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our practice in Gladstone, Queensland. As a GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary health care services to the community, including chronic disease management, health checks, and mental health support.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position with a salary based on a percentage of billings. You will work in a mixed billing practice with a shared responsibility for after-hours duties on a roster basis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality primary health care services to patients of all age ranges and levels of healthcare needs.
- Respond to medical/health problems presented by patients, including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate.
- Manage long-term conditions in line with national guidelines and pathways.
- Prescribe medications as necessary.
- Order diagnostic tests as required.
- Record and maintain accurate patient records using the established practice protocols and computerized medical records system.
We are seeking a fellowed General Practitioner who is willing to consider doctors under Level 2 or higher supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
