About the Role:
The International Society for Bayesian Analysis is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Statistical Science to join our team. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will be responsible for conducting research in statistical data science, with a focus on developing and implementing regional-climate data fusion, statistical downscaling, ice-sheet model calibration, and studying the effects of present and future climate on biodiversity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in statistical data science, with a focus on developing and implementing regional-climate data fusion, statistical downscaling, ice-sheet model calibration, and studying the effects of present and future climate on biodiversity.
- Collaborate with researchers from participating universities and research institutions to advance the field of statistical science.
- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze and interpret large datasets.
- Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and reports.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
