About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivables, overseeing weekly payroll, and providing updates to management and other ad-hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and log employee and sub-contractor timesheets
  • Oversee the weekly payroll process for all staff
  • Manage office administration, ensuring secure data storage
  • Maintain asset and leave registers
  • Monitor fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Prepare fortnightly updates for PMs and Directors
  • Support the team with various tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an accounts and/or payroll officer
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial management expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (MYOB/Xero)
  • A confident communicator with excellent verbal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • An organized and punctual team player
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
