Tourism Ambassador

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Visitor Services Officer to join our team in Menzies. As the first point of contact for visitors, this role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the visitor experience.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing tourism services, overseeing key landmarks, and providing information to visitors at the Menzies Visitor Centre. This includes reviewing local points of interest, managing signage and promotional materials, and liaising with other departments to ensure the upkeep of tourism assets such as the Lady Shenton building and the Caravan Park.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong passion for tourism and community development. They will also be an integral part of ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for all visitors, assisting with event coordination, and providing administrative support as needed.

The remuneration package for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, including a relocation allowance, subsidised staff accommodation, additional superannuation, and loyalty pay. Further information regarding the position can be accessed through our website.
