Home Care Support Worker

About The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work with our elderly customers to help them remain in their own homes for as long as possible and live a fulfilling life independently.

As a Home Care Support Worker, your duties will include assistance with daily living tasks such as domestic support, meal preparations, personal care, and/or community access and participation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to elderly customers in their homes
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as household chores, meal preparation, and personal care
  • Encourage and support customers to participate in community activities and maintain independence
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each customer
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting the elderly
  • Cert III in Individual Support (must)
  • 6+ months sector experience desirable but not essential
  • Valid AU Driver's Licence
  • Reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations (km's paid)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Vaccinated against COVID and current Flu
