Explosive Ordnance Armament Technician & Electronics SpecialistWe are seeking skilled professionals to undertake technical maintenance, inspection and certification activities related to the safety, functionality and readiness of guided weapon systems and explosive ordnance.
About the Role- This position plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of defence technology through the execution of complex tasks and projects.
- The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate increased capability, performance and responsibilities over time to obtain and maintain the necessary authorities and requirements for advancement.
- Perform technical tasks within an explosive ordnance field, utilising technical data, publications and documentation.
- Adhere to defined policy, processes and procedures in a highly regulated environment, including participation in regular audits and quality assurance activities.
- Carry out all workplace activities in accordance with WHS and technical regulatory requirements.
- Operate hand and power tools and overhead crane in varying work conditions.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships as an effective team member.
- Have the technical aptitude and drive to successfully complete Explosive Ordnance (EO) and maintenance training to satisfy positional KPIs and support career advancement to the APS 6 level.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility required to respond to stakeholder needs and meet Defence outcomes.
