About The Role

1. Providing expert advice on various tax matters, including corporate tax, international tax, and tax planning.
2. Conducting legal research and analysis to support tax strategies and compliance efforts.
3. Preparing and reviewing tax-related documents, including tax opinions, memoranda, and correspondence.
4. Assisting in client meetings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions related to tax issues.
5. Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and strategic advice.
6. Collaborating with internal teams, such as finance and accounting, to ensure tax compliance and optimisation.
7. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the overall growth and success of the tax practice.
8. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 2+ years PQE in Tax law
2. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
3. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
