At Bentley Systems, we are seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join our team of professionals. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with expertise in software development and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will work closely with our team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software products. Your primary responsibility will be to develop numerical algorithms for offshore engineering, general mathematical calculations, and assist the team in implementing different engineering design modules for MOSES product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and document numerical algorithms for engineering and general mathematical calculations
  • Develop advanced hydrodynamic analysis software
  • Mentor junior developers

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Naval Architecture, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or relevant experience
  • Expertise in FORTRAN programming
  • Strong understanding of Hydrodynamics
  • Experience in developing software using Intel FORTRAN and Object-oriented programming
  • Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in hydrodynamic design and analysis tools such as MOSES, SESAM, Orcaflex, NEMOH etc.
  • Knowledge of aero-elastic wind turbine solvers like Bladed and OpenFAST
  • Knowledge in three-dimensional static and dynamic analysis of structures, finite element development, solution methods, direct/iterative solvers, sparse Eigen solvers
  • Working knowledge of Oil & Gas offshore floating structures
  • Offshore renewable energy industry experience
  • Programming skills in C# or C++, Python
  • Experience in macro programs in Excel, MathCAD, MatLab
  • Agile philosophy experience
  • Multi-threaded software development experience
