About the Role
As a Corporate Banking Specialist at Bank of Queensland, you will provide critical support to the Corporate Relationship Executive in preparing credit submissions for new and existing customers. This involves analyzing financial statements, identifying industry trends, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
You will also be responsible for liaising with Loans Centre and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate settlements. Effective customer service is essential in generating new business and retaining existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex lending submissions exceeding $10 million.
- Support the Relationship Executive in identifying and executing new business opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to BOQ's credit policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Liaise with Loan Centre and external service providers to ensure accurate documentation and timely settlements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions exceeding $10 million.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically analyze financial statements and identify industry trends.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to establish strong internal and external relationships.
- Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge and strong time management skills.
