About the Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and organized Motor Vehicle Driver to join our Courier Team at Westmead Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting pathology samples, equipment, and results across various Sydney Metro areas within a 24/7 service.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and reliable transport of pathology samples, equipment, and results to and from laboratories, collection centres, clinics, and hospitals.

Requirements
  • Physical fitness to walk long distances and lift/move items up to 10 kg
  • Flexibility to participate in a 24/7 roster, including weekends, nights, and public holidays
  • Current unencumbered Class C NSW driver's license with an excellent driving record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage priorities effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information

This position is Category A, requiring compliance with NSW Health Policy Directive on Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination against Infectious Diseases. Candidates may need to undergo a functional assessment prior to appointment.
