Job Overview

The role of a Financial Accountant involves overseeing the financial operations of an organization. This includes preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly finance procedures, including preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and review monthly accruals and standard journals.
  • Assist with compliance requirements, including statutory accounts and tax returns.
  • Support the year-end process and annual audit.
  • Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis to provide actionable insights.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Accounting roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Accounting software.
  • Knowledge of financial statement preparation, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Demonstrates self-motivation and maintains high productivity levels.
  • Experience in retail or distribution environment.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
