Role Overview:

As a Project Controller, you will be instrumental in managing project expenditures, analyzing budget variances, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints. This role requires a strong foundation in cost management, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop detailed project budgets.
  • Establish effective cost control measures to track project expenses and commitments.
  • Perform thorough variance analysis to pinpoint and address budget discrepancies.
  • Create and deliver analytical reports utilizing MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, focusing on project budgets, actual costs, forecasts, and variations.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to collect data, resolve issues, and compile comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
  • Oversee change orders, assessing their financial implications and ensuring appropriate documentation and approval.
  • Construct precise cost forecasting models to aid in project planning and decision-making.
  • Evaluate project risks related to budgets and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare various reports including Progress Summary reports, Primavera programme updates, Project S-Cure reports, and Manning reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for analytical reporting.
  • Solid understanding of budget formulation, cost monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 for project scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights to stakeholders.
