We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Delivery - Strategic Programs to lead our Technology HI & BS team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our Capability Modernisation Program, ensuring the transformation and upgrading of foundational systems that underpin our operations.

The Capability Modernisation program is critical to our long-term success, enabling us to remain competitively sustainable in the market. You will be responsible for delivering a compliant, modern, and modular set of core HI capabilities that reduce risk, enable innovation, and drive our strategic priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-10 years' experience in large-scale program management, managing medium to large projects with high complexity and multiple dependencies
  • Demonstrated experience in project status reporting, scheduling, dependency management, and milestone tracking techniques
  • Proven track record influencing and negotiating successful outcomes with sponsors, project managers, and senior stakeholders
  • Experience running RFPs/RFIs and managing vendor relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior levels and report writing
  • Experience in Agile project delivery and a strong understanding of SAFe, DevOps, and SDLC
  • Able to use and adapt to technology by applying fundamental principles in new contexts
  • Experience applying Six Sigma or Lean process improvement techniques will be highly regarded

Qualifications and Training

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Formal project management qualifications from AIPM or PMI (mandatory or working towards)
  • Formal Agile project management training
