Senior Front-End Software Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Software Development Engineer to lead the development of complex software applications, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy: High-quality front-end software applications using modern technologies such as Svelte, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Work with designers, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project goals and technical requirements.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to support the growth and development of junior engineers.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews to ensure that code quality, scalability, and maintainability are met.
  • Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve existing processes and systems.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a primary focus on frontend development.
  • Experience with Svelte + SvelteKit or other server-side rendering frameworks (e.g. React + NextJS, Vue + Nuxt, Quasar, etc).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals, Subscriptions (WebSockets, Pub/Sub), TypeScript, GraphQL, Storybook and related technologies.
  • Strong Understanding of Code Architecture: A deep understanding of code architecture and design principles.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and address complex technical challenges.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: An analytical mindset to devise innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Continuous Learning: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies to grow as a full-stack engineer.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Node.js, Docker, Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS Code Pipeline, Github Actions) for automating the deployment process.
