About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Platypus Shoes in Alice Springs, NT. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to customers in-store
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Process and manage large volumes of stock, including picking and packing click and dispatch orders
  • Assist in maintaining the in-store operations, including housekeeping, visual merchandising, and cleaning
  • Maintain a positive and can-do attitude at all times to provide an unforgettable shopping experience for our customers
Requirements
  • Full availability from October 2024 to Mid-January 2025, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays
  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and an unforgettable shopping experience
  • A passion for streetwear and sneaker culture
  • The ability to work well within a fast-paced and energetic team environment
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Ability to listen and use feedback constructively
