About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Leader to join our Product Engineering team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable software solutions that meet business requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take ownership of multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of complex software systems, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to established coding standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to understand product features and design technical solutions that meet user needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of our system architecture and services used within our tech stack.
  • Communicate technical concepts and ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We Use

We employ a serverless architecture on AWS, leveraging API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, Lambda (running Node.js), DynamoDB, OpenSearch, SQS, and SNS. Our Infrastructure as Code is managed using Terraform, while we use TypeScript for the full stack and VS Code as our IDE. Jira serves as our Scrum tool.
