The Role of a Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Technician to provide labour for remediation and restoration services for domestic and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, pride in their work, and be physically fit for demolition duties and heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carpet Cleaning, Carpet & Fabric Protection, Window Coverings, Upholstery Cleaning, Stain Removal, Water Damages, Tile & Grout.
  • Travel to various sites between the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers.
  • Liaise with Project Coordinators to complete designated work.
  • Complete reports and inventory accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform remediation & restoration works, including equipment installation and monitoring.
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Quality, Customer Service, and Safety.
  • Emergency response, mitigation, and clean-up of properties damaged by fire, water, and mould.

Requirements

  • High attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of workmanship throughout restoration projects.
  • Ability to perform water damage and fire cleaning tasks while completing reports, scopes, and quotations to a high level.
  • Understand and execute work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to operate efficiently with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High Standard of customer service.
  • Willingness to participate in all training as needed or required.
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to provide claims officers with accurate information related to the progress and status of projects in a timely manner.
  • Must hold a valid manual driver's license.
